This custom made stoneware house was hand shaped to include a bird & cat on the roof and a gingerbread boy & girl on the side. It is decorative center piece for a table and a child's delight.
The green and blue glazes used on this piece is custom mixed made for firing in an electric kiln at high temperatures. I finished the glaze in a gloss so it works well as a decorative piece and is lightweight and comfortable to hold.
Stoneware fired at high temperatures are known to be very durable - with proper care, this piece can last for centuries.
