This custom made stoneware Chapel in the Field was hand shaped to include blue birds. It is decorative center piece for a table.

The white-ish glaze used on this piece is custom mixed made for firing in a gas kiln at high temperatures. It works well as a decorative piece.

Stoneware fired at high temperatures are known to be very durable - with proper care, this piece can last for centuries.
