Wheel thrown stoneware piece was thrown on a potter's wheel. The glaze is glossy and matte and was fired in a gas kiln.
Stoneware fired at high temperatures are known to be very durable - with proper care, this piece can last for centuries.
*This bowl is dishwasher safe and can be warmed in the oven up to around 350 degrees. It is not designed for stovetop use. This bowl is approved for microwave use -- NOTE: extended microwave use (over many decades) on ceramic items with high power settings can cause the piece to become dry or brittle.
